Growing up with limited resources I know first hand the difference a quality education can have on one's future.  I was extremely fortunate to receive a great foundation at home.  Matriculating through the Muscogee County School District with quality, caring educators provided me with the tools needed for lifelong learning. As a parent, educator, and stakeholder I strive to provide all students with the tools they will need to reach their limitless potential and become lifelong learners. Ephesians 2:10 states "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand , that we should walk in them."

I have a passion for helping others.  At Mountain Hill Missionary Baptist Church I serve as the Education Director, a position I created with the approval of the pastor to assist students with all things academics from tutoring to college visits.  As my aunt often says, "Everyone was not raised at your table."  So the emphasis placed on education is different for every student.  I want to ensure that regardless of where a student starts, when they are educated in the Harris County School District they will be safe from physical and mental dangers.  All students will have an opportunity to excel regardless of their background.  And all students will receive an excellent education that creates a thirst for knowledge and learning.
